Committee Member Luana Bussieres advised that the Healthy Aging Alberta gathering is being held in Athabasca on Friday, June 17, 2022. It was noted that the framework for healthy aging is the movement to prepare the province for 2030 when a large portion of the population reaches the age of 65. It was further noted that there has been funding released from both the Provincial and Federal Governments to help increase supports to seniors for aging in home.
