Public Art Plan:
Karen Puga, Lead Coordinator, Community Services provided an update on the Regional Public Art Plan (Plan). It was noted that the Plan is tentatively scheduled to be presented at the April 27, 2021 Council Meeting.
Council Chamber Artwork:
Theresa Buller, Department Administrator, Community Services provided an update on the Indigenous Council Chamber Artwork, it was noted that Administration is still awaiting responses to the letters sent out regarding the programs Knowledge Keepers and that to date four applications have been received from artists interested in leading the project.
igNIGHT:
Theresa Buller, Department Administrator, Community Services provided an update on the igNIGHT Artist Information Session that was held on April 8, 2021. It was noted that the artist call will close on May 6, 2021 and the selection panel is hoping to move forward on May 11, 2021. Committee members were encouraged to reach out to their contacts for interest in participation in the selection panel.
