Mayor D. Scott acknowledged the announcement from Sportsnet noting that the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo will be one of the communities welcoming the 2019-2020 Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour presented by Scotiabank and Hyundai in November 2019. Mayor D. Scott thanked the community committee members in attendance for their commitment to the growth of sports and events within the Region.
Mayor D. Scott acknowledged that September 27, 28 and 29, 2019 will be “Alberta Culture Days” and recognized individuals in the gallery associated with this initiative.
