Sharon Heading proposed that each member research and report on the Public Art Program of other Canadian Cities.
Nabil Malik proposed that the Public Art Committee present to the Wood Buffalo Waterfront Advisory Committee and the Wood Buffalo Downtown Revitalization Advisory Committee on current art initiatives and involvement in future projects. Administration committed to facilitating meetings.
The Committee Members discussed the percentage of the Public Art Reserves for art related to Capital Projects. The Committee Members committed to gathering best practices throughout Canada and report back to the Committee by the end of March 2020.
