Paul Spring, President, and Andrea Montgomery Spring, Executive Director, Local HERO Foundation, presented the grant request for the Local Helicopter Emergency Response Organization Foundation.

Vacating and Assuming of Chair

Mayor D. Scott vacated the Chair, and Deputy Mayor J. Peddle assumed the Chair at 4:58 p.m.

THAT $2,200,000 be allocated to the Local Helicopter Emergency Response Organization Foundation, with $1,200,000 coming from reserves and $1,000,000 coming from the 2020 Community Investment Sustaining Grant Program.

Resuming of Chair

Mayor D. Scott resumed the Chair at 5:03 p.m.

Recess

A recess occurred from 5:04 p.m. to 5:16 p.m.

Change in schedule

Mayor D. Scott advised that Council will hear the remaining Community Investment Program presentations this evening, and the Community Impacts Grants (Items 6.1 to 6.4) will be considered by Council when the meeting reconvenes on November 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. Mayor D. Scott further advised that no delegations will be heard tomorrow morning regarding the Community Impact Grants.
