Helen Meyer, Chair, suggested that the committee choose a red flower for the 2022 Flower of The Year, in support of the Year of the Garden Campaign. The committee members discussed Geraniums, Zinnias, Sweet Williams and Red Sunflowers as options.
With consensus, the Communities in Bloom Committee supports Administration consulting with the Parks division to select the top three best choices for the region, following that, the public will be provided an opportunity to vote on the final decision for the Flower of the Year.
