Single Use Washrooms:
Greg Wolf, Chief Building Safety Codes Officer, Planning and Development spoke with the Committee regarding the regulations for single stall washrooms, and the requirements that must be met in order to label a washroom or stall as gender neutral.
Equity and Inclusion Office Launch:
Caitlin Downie, Department Administrator, Community and Protective Services, provided various program updates from the Equity and Inclusion Office including the Accessibility Audit, Awareness Campaign, Committees Bylaw, Equity and Inclusion Office Staffing.
Employee Diversity and Inclusion Survey:
Caitlin Downie, Department Administrator, Community and Protective Services, provided an overview of the results received through the Employee Diversity and Inclusion Survey.
The Committee provided feedback and suggestions on how to improve and expand the survey in the future.
