Annalee Adair, Consultant, A. Adair and Associates Inc., presented the draft Public Art Plan, and provided an overview of the key insights, future directions and vision and purpose. A brief review of the expansion of Public Art Programs was provided, including the Acquisition Program, Public Art Advisory Circle and it proposed Governance Structure.
Further discussion was held regarding the programs funding allocations, it was noted that Administration is working with the Finance Department to determine to appropriate formulas for allocations. Additionally, Committee members also engaged in conversation regarding the Interdepartmental Working Group, Administration advised that they are committed to continually supporting the Working Group and ensuring it is a priority.
