Chair Roy Williams and Monica Lance, Manager, Special Projects, led the overview of the roles and responsibilities of the two Working Groups: Group 1 - Beautification and Placemaking; and Group 2 - Neighbourhood Safety and Pedestrian Friendliness. It was noted that the purpose of the Working Groups is to provide advice and initiate action towards the Committee’s approved 2020/2021 priorities and recommended infrastructure enhancement actions, and to address identified Committee initiatives as outlined within the Committees Bylaw.

Administration committed to providing a draft framework to provide the initial areas of focus, responsible party and anticipated timelines for both Working Groups, which will begin meeting in the next several weeks.
